The song Flight is about a musical 'flight' that I've made from a familiar idiom to something new. A leap of faith in which the crossover between styles such as jazz/funk/fusion are central.
New ways of playing & composing that I discovered and further developed during this 'flight'. The mix between electric and acoustic elements originated with this song, this was the first of a number of hybrid songs that can be found on the album.
